Why doesnt the readme file included in the releases have a list of changes, or a separate text file to list the changes between versions?  Even a link on the website that lists the changes would be nice.  Does this exist somewhere and I am just missing it?

Discussion is happening at this thread as well:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/mid/2108/threadid/88300/scope/posts/Default.aspx#88633

Here is changelog for 4.4.0:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/RoadMap.aspx?PROJID=2

Here is changelog for 4.3.6 and below:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/ChangeLog.aspx?PROJID=2

No mention WHATSOEVER of 4.3.7 in Gemini.

Sorry guys, but you really need to organise your releases a lot better than this, and handle your bug management and "customer" request for fixes better. For the past 8 months (since I've got DNN fever) each release the situation seems to get worse not better. Absolutely nothing on 4.3.7, I am guessing that 4.3.6 had major issues hence this release came out so quickly (I stress this is just a guess).

Often when people log calls in Gemini they might not get a response for 6 to 18 months. This is not a credible situation for any software project.

Cheers

Alex

p.s. The team I'm sure is working its ass off I'm sure, but the DNN corp really needs to handle the need and requirements of the DNN community a heck of a lot better. Even if they are handling this they certainly aren’t bringing the message across to end users.

p.p.s.

Found something hidden away in a blog:

Check out these links, there was information posted.

www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/BlogsDotNetNuke/tabid/825/BlogID/5/Default.aspx

Most security releases are handled the same way and made known to the public the same way.  If there is a new release soon after another release it is probably security release and you should check the blogs for information about why the security release was done.  Cathal is very good a making this information known to the community when a security release is done.

We are working on having all changes entered into Gemini (issues, enhancements, new features, etc) but we are not there yet.
