Hi,

Like everyone else, I am anxiously waiting for the New Repository. I just put my site online with 307 files and 21 categorys here

I dont think there are many using a libray of this size, so i thought i would post it for you to browse through and see it in use.

Some of the bugs i have found:

  1. Files being displayed in the wrong category ... this one i think you know of already.
  2. When i go through viewing files in a category, clicking on Next Page, sometimes the category just changes for no reason.
  3. If i do a search for "Delta" using the site search, i get results, but when i click on the resulting link, it doesnt always take me to the file.

I will add more as i find them.

Thanks,

Gary

Gary,
Thanks for info .. nice site btw!

1. yes, known issue. fixed in the upcoming release

2. haven't seen this .. although I don't have a repository with 300+ items either :). Might be related to the first issue. Not sure. I'll look into it, there are some paging issues when you change categories that I'm aware of.

3. yes, known issue. not fixed in the upcoming release, but will be fixed in the following release. Once the first release is made public, there will be monthly releases of DRM3.

BTW .. since you have such a large repository running GRM3, do you have a 'test' site or some other development site? and if so, would you be willing to test an upgrade from GRM3 to DRM3? I'd be interested to see a successful upgrade on such a large installation. Let me know and thanks again for the feedback!

Hi Steve, i would be glad to help.

I have a site on my pc that i test a module or try something new before running it live.

I could easily duplicate my current GRM3 library and try the upgrade process. The site is also accessible from the net. Its pretty messy though!! The Housekeeper hasn't visited yet!!
