I had excact the same error. I read something about casesensitive collation. The standard isntall of sql server 2005 uses a CS collation. Have you checked that?

Just FYI,

I used finally combination Win2003+SQL2000 (instead of SQL 2005) and everything works fine.

I have the same erro but with  Wind2003 + SQL 2000 what is the problem ??????

OK, the next thing (from my experience): if you are don’t using default ASP.NET account (NETWORK SERVICE on Win2k3) for DotNetNuke application pool you need to enable following line in web.config file:

<identity impersonate="true"/>

Hope this helps…
