Here's the scenario:

I'm developing an intranet for our company to replace our former intranet software that was pretty expensive and sucked.  It did have one nice feature, however, in that you could tie modules down to certain roles (not only who can edit them, like DNN has, but also who has access to even PLACE them on a page at all).  I know I can lock a page down to edit, but I want to go further and say if you are of role "superman" you can place the "superman" module, but if you aren't "superman", that module just isn't available for you to place it -- although you might still have access to view it if somebody else put it down and allowed you to view it.

So the question is, does something like that exist in DotNetNuke?  At the time it sounds like we can live without it, but it may become an issue in the future (company of 700 employees, about 50 will have edit rights of some sort in different areas of the portal).

Thanks,

Fooberichu

WONDERFUL!

I must say I absolutely love DNN and the community out there.  I ask a question and there is always an answer (and usually good ones).

Thank you much for pointing me in the right direction.
