Hey Folks,

I'm a flailing rookie trying to get a domain name pointed to a site I built with an alternative URL (shared hosting with DiscountASP.net).  I build a complete DNN4.3.5 site and when I moved the DNS for my domain, the URL in the browser keeps resolving to the alternative URL.  I watched Nina's video on parent/child/alias but don't know enough to determine if it's an alias problem or otherwise.  My site was expanded and built in a sub directory of the location where the IP address is pointing.  I dropped in a Redirect script to forward the domain to the /DNN/ directory, but the URL keep resolving back to the alternative URL.  In the 'Portals' setting, the Alternative URL is listed as the Alias and I have not added any alias' to the default portal.  Any thoughts??

Kevin
