Hey All,

This was happening in 4.3.5 and is still happening to me in 4.3.7.  Ive got a page with a couple of text modules, a link module, and a few other modules... and now, when I go to add a newmodule (of any type) I set all the settings and click on add.  Nothing happens except some of the text in the other modules disappears.  If I go to another page and come back... the text returns, however.. The module I added... didnt add and doesnt exist.

Any ideas to try?

-Roger

It sounds like it might possibly be the problem described in this blog post.

Im only running Win Server 2000, also that blog didnt really address my problem.  It isnt that Im getting 2 different views, unless it is returning with a view that doesnt exist... that being that my links in the links module disappear.. or the News entries in the News and Announcements module disappear. I'm also having an issue with Adding Existing modules... but I havent researched that yet.

I have more information on this issue.   It started adding the modules when I got rid of a Text/HTML module that had HTML in it with a form.  Havent gone into too much detail... but, Odd things were happening with this text box on there.  I took it off and everything worked the way it "should".  I put the Text Module back on... and added the HTML block I want to use... and wierd things started happening... Taking it off again.. fixed the problem again.  So.. for now.. That text box will not be returning to the page.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Right, you can't put forms into your text/html because there is already a Form on the page and a module will put your form inside the default one.

This blog may help
