HIi,

Only recently set-up a live version of DNN 4.3.5. Noticed the problems with sort in the UDT and wanted to upgrade the module. Forgive my lacj of knowledge, but how do you actually upgrade. I have found references to adding completely new modules, updating custom modules, but is the UDT not a standard module that needs to be updated in a special way... TRied to use search across the forums to find out but just keeping get timeouts... so thought fourms might be the fastest troute to find out.

Thanks
William

to upgrade UDT you install it like any other new or updated module:

  • log in as host
  • go to host :: Module Definitions menu item
  • choose "install new module package" action
  • select the zip file and upload
  • check the install log for eventual issues

All existing UDT module instances get upgraded automatically.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
