Hello.

I was looking for a portal and i really loved the DNN resources and features, but i'm trying to configure it to Run for my Network Stations and i have problems.

Locally i can run all the features without problems but when i try to access from another machine it fails and don't find the Default Page.

Locally i can acess using the address http:\\localhost\Default.aspx.
I tryed from stations passing the address like: http:\\server-ip\Default.aspx but it fails and don't exhibit the first page.

The server is Windows XP SP2, running .Net 2.0 and UltiDev Cassini Web Server for ASP.Net 2.0 and DNN 4.3.7. The port number is 80.

I think i can solve the problem setting a .config file.
Thanks for everything. I hope you can help me because the portal will give me a lot of facilities.

Sorry for my English.

Check if in the ADMIN page you have the localhost configuration on the 'HTTP Names'.

This is usually where you define the domain for the DNN to work. And you always have to setup the domain adding the HTTP NAME into it like for example:

www.mydnndomain.com

Hello Adelino.

I need to know which ADMIN page are you talking about?
I am running the application on UltiDev Cassini Web Server, in WinXP SP2.

I am not running this site on internet, only on the my LAN.

Just login into the administration page. Enter as ADMIN or as HOST and you will see the admin menu, where you have the page settings, users, logs, languages, etc.

Then find the HTTP name that are on the botton of the page.
