Hello everyone,

I am trying to install DNN 3.4 in a Window server 2003 web edition machine and I am getting the HTTP 403 Forbidden error when trying to install the application. The Computer is brand new and has only the operating system. I placed the aplication in the wwwroot folder, gave network service full control, registered the framework 1.1.4233, added default.aspx to the documents on IIS; but is still not working. I really do not know what else to do.

Could you please help me? I will really appreciated.

Thanks

Maria

Allowed ASP.NET as a web service extension in IIS?  When do you get the erorr?  Did you check the logs, both DNN install and IIS?

I'm having the exact same problem.  I've even tried un-installing and re-installing the source and install versions twice.
