Hi Folks,

I want to have a vertical menu that shows all of the Root Tabs and only the child tabs of the currently selected Tab.

I am familier with the HouseMenu and some SolPart menu modules and I'm sure I've seen it somewhere but having a brain freeze today.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am sure you are aware that the Level=Parent or Child property allows you to show the items from the currently selected tab.  However, you request seems to be unique in that you still want all root items...  I don't think this is possible with one menu, but you could handle it with two separate menus (rootonly=true, level=child).

This may not be what you want, but it is all that I believe you will be able to do without custom programming.  If you decide to do custom programming, I think your easiest effort will be in the creation of a new dataprovider for my free menu module.

Good call Jon, I never thought about more than one vertical menu.

So you could do menu1=parent menu2=child etc. etc.

I'll need to play with this. Any preformance hit with having 3 menus on a page?
