I've noticed this in a couple of places in the core and in some core modules.  If you switch to the FCK Editor, if the GUI area allocated to that section is smal, then the FCK GUI takes the entire space - there is not place to type!

The work-around is to collapse the tool-bar, but that's pretty bad... if you want to bold something, you have to select it, expand the toolbar, click on bold and then collapse the toolbar again!  oy!

Can you make the text area bigger in templates that use a summary field?

Cheers!

I you go into the custom options, select 'Module' as the settings type, and go to other options,you can force a width and height for the editor.

Dan's close (How ya doin BTW?) but I'm not sure if it'll work in the Repository. If it doesn't then add a height and width setting in the form.xml file for your template. Below is what I'm using in one of mine....

<Object>

<Token>[DESCRIPTION]</Token>

<Settings>

<Setting>

<Name>Width</Name>

<Value>600</Value>

</Setting>

<Setting>

<Name>Height</Name>

<Value>400</Value>

</Setting>

</Settings>

</Object>

<Object>

<Token>[SUMMARY]</Token>

<Settings>

<Setting>

<Name>Width</Name>

<Value>600</Value>

</Setting>

<Setting>

<Name>Height</Name>

<Value>250</Value>

</Setting>

</Settings>

</Object>
