I am really new to this and need help. I have registered and logged on to my site. After logging on the only thing I see is my registration form. There are no tabs or contol panel on top. How do I get to these? I'm really lost.
the page says Welcome to my website, and looks like this:

Administrator Login:
Username: admin
Password: *****
* Select the Admin tab to manage the portal settings as the Administrator. Make sure you change the default password and specify a valid Email address for this account.
Host Login:
Username: host
Password: ****
* Select the Host tab to manage multiple portals as the Host. Make sure you change the default password and specify a valid Email address for this account.

It says select, but there is nothing to select or press or go to.

What am I doing wrong!

Thanks
John

Ok - by default DNN sets up two users the host user that has control over the whole portal and the admin user that has control over the site.

The host user is host and its password is dnnhost (you should change this password once loged in)

the admin user is admin and its password is dnnadmin again you should change the password once logged in

You registered to the site and thus the user id you created is a registered user that has no rights to the admin section.

so log in as host = this will then display both the admin and the host menu and on top of the page will be the control panel.

once you are logged in as host or admin then you can add pages and do all the admin functions.

hope that helps.

John
