Should the starter kit work with VWDE? I thought I had used it before but now I am getting the following error "Installation stopped because the directory for the ProjectType value did not exist.  The project type is invalid for your installation of Visual Studio."

The only thing that I have done that is non-standard is move my "My Documents" directory to a different drive.

Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,

I just started using the starter kit for the first time but Im using visual studio 2005.

Thanks - as I thought it can be used with Express - therefore I can only assume its expecting a particular directory to exist which doesn't because I've moved the "My Documents" folder.

It was that. I changed the paths in preferences in VWDE and it installed OK.

See this link explaining the "compiled module" reference in VWD.
