I will state this right from the start I am not familier with localization what so ever.

I am have reached a problem where one of the modules that I am using is a content module which show multiple content and has detailed view if the "view more"  link is clicked on. button  If the link is clicked it will send you to the detailed view of a specific piece of content. From there you can go back to the original master view which you came from, by a click on the "Back to Master Rows" link. I asked help from the programmer who created the module if I can change the link text into something people will understand better and/or something that is more related to my content, and this is his reply:

"yes the module is localized you can edit this using localization"

Now I am really lost and dont even know where to start, or where I can get information about localization. Any help would be very appreciated.

I assume by this answer that the text you request to change is localized (meaning it can be changed on a per language basis). So you can change too the default english string to whatever you may need.

For a quick introduction to dnn localization see the documentation. You can also take a look at some introductory blog posts I made related to language pack creation.

In sumary: login as host, go to Host -> Languages, select Language Editor and find the module you're dealing with under the node DesktopModules. You'll see there all the files that build this module. Now it's just a matter to find where this string is define and change it to whatever you want and click "Save".
