I need to write a custom query to acces the user table and related information in the user profile. Since the user profile is structured with each item as a record, how do I write a function that will return the needed information in a query.

The function should use the information from the user table to find the profile items in the user profile table so that if I need the firstname, lastname, address, city, state, zipcode, homephone, etc... I could run the query using the function as part of the query and have the query return the columns I want.

Thanks,

JLT
