Manage your photos in the Full featured FotoVision Client application

The FotoVision Client allows

  • Adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation, and gamma.

  • Converting colors to grayscale and sepia.

  • Rotating and flipping.

  • Resizing, cropping and creating thumbnails.

To upload your albums and pictures simply click the Upload button.

The Upload button instantly uploads your albums and pictures.

Your Gallery is instantly created in your DotNetNuke site.

Each user has their own gallery with unlimited albums and pictures.

The Download link to the FotoVision Client is provided with instructions on configuration that is specific to the portal it is installed on.

The ability to use FotoVision is restricted to a Administrator configured role

Awesome!

A few comments...

It would be very valuable to be able to specify the root folder the images are uploaded to. It would also be valuable to specifiy the folder names for the albums, right now it users the memberid, would be nice if you could use their username for the folder.

I see a great application for this for users that have no idea how to resize images for use inside the RTE. If you could specify a root folder that would allow the images to be placed in the "root" images folder for the editor, in my case it "Images". Having the images stored in a folder with the username would make it easy for users to find their images.

This is an excellent and useful module. Thank you!

OMT, my thumbnails are not showing ??? Could it be that I use a folder name on portal creation instead of using the portalid? The site is not a "child" site but a sub domain (mysite.mainsite.com).

Not sure what you mean. How are you not using a Portalid?
