All,

I am looking for someone who has successfully integrated the Ajax Toolkit.  I have been able to use AJAX with DNN without a problem, but I am running into wierd errors when trying to use the ModalPopup control in the AJAX toolkit.

Basically when I create the ModalPopup outside of DNN, it works just fine.  When I then add it to the DNN Module I created, it puts the dialog box up in the upper left corner with the center of it at pixel 0,0.

What do I need to do to make this work?

Thanks,

Keith

Thats funny cause I am having a devil of a time getting the AJAX to work in DNN (4.3.7) - can you share any insights on how you got it to work? - For example a gridview

Okay I found something interesting while working on this

If you use the DNN Compiled module template from the Starter kits (Web Application Project) the DRAG and DROP part of adding the AJAX controls or the AJAX Toolkit controls doesnt seem to work so I was adding the controls by hand - to do this I created a AJAX web project added a control and coppied the resulting HTML to my page

I was having problems because the page wouldnt show them in design view and the page bombed when ran - after a lot of looking I noticed that the AJAX Timer control is in the Microsft.Web.UI.Controls napespace and all the others are in the Microsoft.Web.UI namespace -I had inadverttly copied on the register command for the timer namespace and it was causing the problem

Other than that little hicup I have gotten this to work very nicely - just thought others might like to know if they are having questions on setting up and getting AJAX into the framework.

I have been able to make a running AJAX accordion. However, I needed somes modifications to the default.aspx and to the web.config. However, when I put more then one module with ajax (containing a scriptmanager) on the same form then I get an error that on a page only 1 scriptmanager can exist. Does anybody know how to fix this? Where is a common place to put only 1 script manager without having to modify DNN core too much?
