Hi

I have spent about an hour searching so i thought id ask and i hope someone can help.  I am looking for a way to display a list of user accounts to my users.  kind of like a directory of users - and then how to configure it to display only certain fields (perhaps users specify this).  i notice that in the user account you can specify public or admin only fields so i assume this can be done but i cant find it anywhere.

thanks in advance

Quintin

Quintin,

Did you figure out how to display user account info? I have the same question. The User Account collects a lot of info, like the biogrpahy, I just can't figure out how to display it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

kmideas

Hi, there are a few modules out on snowcovered that will list your users and their information just do some searches like: contact, users, phonebook and you will see a few good modules. Also, you should check out www.Smart-Thinker.com he has a module that does this and you can see a demo.

there is a new project dealing with this subject that will issue an appropriate membership directory module soon. Meanwhile you can easily build a module by using the links module (yes, you need to add the links to user profiles manually) or the reports module.

Hi, have you seen the Smart-Thinker UserProfile module? Check out this directory as an example - the lists and profile views are completely customisable with templates so you can show any extra info you have captured in your profile...
