Ok, thanks. But are they other stylesheet read (before of after the one I described).
And was I correct in the order it is read by the application ???

AFAIK the order is:

default.css -->  portal.css --> skin.css

Plus you can have inline CSS in the code that changes styles (which is bad form but seems to occur in some modules), as well as module-specific CSS.  In a properly behaving module and code, the skin.css should be the ultimate authority to meet the prupose of skinning.  So if you intend to modify this style, do it in the skin.css, even if it is identical to the higher level CSS files.
