While in the process of moving a portal site from 1 server to another I exported it as a template, complete with all content (65MB). While the process was creating the new child portal it timed out and didn't create the Admin page and as a consequence none of the admin modules are available. This means I cannot delete the failed portal. How do I invoke the process of deleting a portal from the SQL window? I know I have to delete tabs, portalID, Modules, etc but do not know them all. Does anyone have a suggestion how I can proceed?

Thanks in advance, --> Jon

have you tried to login as host? go to host > portals, click the edit (pencil icon) then click 'delete' on the site settings page of that portal.

Hi Rich.

I have attempted that with no success. When it failed to create the Admin menu (and Admin menu items) it throws an exception because Site Settings doesn't exist and therefore I cannot delete it.  I have to somehow manually create an admin page with Site Settings in order to delete it. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Jon
