Hello



How do I prevent my login and registration pages using the homepage skin?  (DNN 4.3.7)

I know there must be a simple solution for this but I can't find it, I can't recall having this problem before.

I understand I can Create a new Page, call it Login, Add the 'Account Login' module
Create the skin as required
Select the new Login page from:
Admin menu / site settings / advanced settings / Page Management

 I don't want anything fancy I just want a basic login and registration page.  Plus I don't want to find that I have accidentally locked myself out.

I have created several new login pages but I am not able to assign a specific page as my login. My login and my registration page uses  my home page (which is not suitable for login or registration) as default.

In my host and admin site settings I can set admin skin and default site skin, But the login still uses the home page.

I created  another new home page and called it a completely different name, thinking that the login and registration would use the old skin.

I uploaded my new page, whilst at the same time I edited and simplified my old home page skin  to suit the login page (keeping the original page name) which I also uploaded .

I expected the login and registration to use the edited skin of the old home page, but instead they used the new home page.

How does anybody else set a page for the login, that does not mirror the home page and without creating a specific page on the site as mentioned above?
