Hi,

How do I can separate the BREADCRUMB in Menu and Submenus ?

[BREADCRUMB:1] Menu      |       [BREADCRUMB:2] Submenus

Only Submenus:
<dnn:BREADCRUMB runat="server" id="dnnBREADCRUMB" RootLevel="1" />

Menu Completely:
<dnn:BREADCRUMB runat="server" id="dnnBREADCRUMB" RootLevel="0" />

Only Menu ,without Submenus ?

Jens

To display only the root level menu items, I'd use LINKS instead of BREADCRUMB, set to level="Root" and apply the style I want.

<dnn:LINKS runat="server" id="dnnLINKS" Level="Root" />
AND
<dnn:BREADCRUMB runat="server" id="dnnBREADCRUMB" CssClass="BreadCrumbCss" Separator=" » " RootLevel="1" />

The Problem: I see the completely Menu (Sample: Home | News | Links)

I want disply only the active Menu-Link (not the completely menu)!

Sample: News (LINKS) | Today >> Morning (BREADCRUMB)

No selection (start the website) > No menu (submenu)

Home
News  > Today (Child1)  > Morning(Child2)
Links

The Problem is, LINKS display the completely menu (all main Sites).
I need only the active main menu link (without the other Menu-Links and Childs)
<dnn:LINKS runat="server" ID="dnnLINKS" Level="Root"/>
Sample (Menu):
Home
News     > Today > Morning
Contact
News (LINKS) | Today >> Morning (BREADCRUMB RootLevel=1)

I know this is an old post, but I'm surprised nobody has helped you. I am just learning dotnetnuke, but happen to know what you are trying to do.

There is an object called 'PortalSettings' which gives you all sorts of information, including the Active Tab. From this you can build a link, or whatever you want.

In the code behind file, you can get the tab's Name with: PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabName
and either the relative Url (I believe) or Full Url with PortalSettings.ActiveTab.Url and PortalSettings.ActiveTab.FullUrl respectively.

Hope this helps!
