I have inserted around 10000 pages (tabs) directly into the MS SQL 2000 database on which DNN 4.3.6 is running on. Now the for every HTTP request DNN uses 100% CPU and takes forever to finish (around 30 minutes). Can someone help, please?

Every page has the same template: 5 txt/html and one survey module. I made a program that inserts data into tables tabs, modules, tabmodules, tabpermissions, modulepermissions, surveys, surveyoptions, txthtml and for a smaller number of pages (500) everything works ok.

Through sql profiler i can see that for every module a dbo.getsearchitem procedure is called, so maybe that is the problem, too many calls that take too long to finish?

Thanks

Yes, there are some major peformance problems with that many tabs.  The next version of DNN (4.4) will help with this.

hmmm,,,is there a way to load pages not as tabs....so just a page that has modules, and it is searchable, and with friendly urls? (just that :) )
