Hi All

I have a custom DNN module that I created using the starter kit. It works really nice untill I try and access it without admin permissions, then it just seems to keep loading over and over untill the server eventually runs out of recources. What am i missing ?

Thanks

Bump...

Please help .. surely someone else has had this problem, i have now installed it on 3 seperate machines and all 3 do exactly the same thing ! do all users have to have admin permissions to access a custom DNN module  ??? Doesnt sound right ! I am seriously thinking of ditching DNN for another framework.

Without looking at the code it's tough to take a guess.

I am using the standard VS plugins downloaded from this site.

I am adding a custom VB module, deleting the stuff i dont need ( DB Calls etc.) and if i run it like that it loops when there is no admin user. I have even tried to spef through the code, havin all the code installed because DNN is open source and it seems to eventuall step through missing lines ?? I have never seen this with any other VS project. and assumed that someone else wound have experienced the same problem as the standard plugin is doing this.

That happens when you are debugging a version that is not the same as the compiled version.
