The more I enable "Allow Syndicate" across different modules, the more I see slow or no update to the XML/RSS feed after changes are made within a module. I made a post about this in the Announcements Forum:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/12/threadid/92117/scope/posts/Default.aspx

... but now I believe the slow/no RSS feed update issue is more global across all core modules where "Allow Syndicate" is enabled, rather than just an Announcement Module issue.

Does anyone have info they would share regarding the rendering of the "Allow Syndicate" XML/RSS feed channels? What is basically involved in creating the feeds, what are the caching issues? Are there any "Allow Syndicate" settings somewhere that we can tweak?

If a problem can be solved, there's no use worrying about it.
If it can't be solved, worrying will do no good.
