Users of my portal who are not administrators are able to upload html files with FTP.
After uploading these files they have to be shown in an IFrame, but in the Iframe configuration there is no option to choose for the newly uploaded files.

Is there Any way to synchronize the filesystem after uploading?
I tried to activate the "Scheduled task" : DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.SynchronizeFileSystem, DOTNETNUKE

but the following error occured to me:

File System Synchronization failed. System.NullReferenceException: De objectverwijzing is niet op een exemplaar van een object ingesteld.
   bij DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.GetCurrentPortalSettings()
   bij DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderInfo.get_PhysicalPath()
   bij DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.FileSystemUtils.RemoveOrphanedFolders(Int32 PortalId)
   bij DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.FileSystemUtils.SynchronizeFolder(Int32 PortalId, String physicalPath, String relativePath, Boolean isRecursive, Boolean syncFiles, Boolean forceFolderSync)

You can do this in the file manager, but I guess that's not what you are looking for....

The filemanager is only accessible for the administrators of the portal,
The users who are placing content in the Iframe have only adminrights for that specific page.

So I'm looking for an solution to automaticly synchronize the portal directory.

In DNN 3.3.7/4.3.7 there is a new option in host setting "Smart sync". if this is enabled, the folder is synchronized (i.e. new files included in the database) whenever it gets access
