Installed 4.3.7 ok (have installed 3.x and 4.3.x many times fine) and there were no errors.

I click "Click here to access your portal" and I get a skeleton main dnn page - no instructions just Register and Login.  Ok I try to log in as host with PW=host and that doesn't work and admin with PW=admin and it won't authenticate either.

Look at the SQL Tables for "Users" and I see host and admin - I can't, of course, see their PW.  I've never had this happen before - any ideas?

Using GoDaddy and hand installing dnn 4.3.7 in a directory that I control.

Thanks

Perry

Thanks to Nina I got the PWs.

However, there are NO core modules loaded and only Banner, Account login, Search Input, Search Results, and User Account.

I guess this is as "bare bones" an installation as possible.

So I guess I'm up and running on dnn 4.3.7.

after default installation, the user credentials for host and admin are displayed on the front page:

user: host
pwd: dnnhost

user: admin
pwd: dnnadmin

Don't forget to change the passwords asap.

Thanks for the info.

I re-copied the dnn directory over to my web site, set up a new database and it installed normal; showed the normal intro with the passwords too.

I don't remember it "blowing up" the first time I copied it over, but the included modules never made it so the install was "bare bones".  I did log in with the correct PWs before I re-copied.

Thanks for the help
