Hi,

I am working with a company who will accept credit card payment for my web site (similar to PayPal).

When user on my site is ready to checkout and pay (logged in at this time), I redirect user to that company's web site to make payment, and after the process, users will get redirected to my web site with the payment info.

On my web site, I have created a IPN page to receive the form post from that company and process the payment data, and then I will redirect (by using Response.Redirect()) users to their "Order History" page to view their order details. And In order to see "Order History" page, users need to be logged in.

The problem is, when users got redirected to their "Order History" page from my IPN page, they are not logged in anymore.

Users were logged in before they got redirected to make payment, but how come when they got redirected back to my portal, they are not logged in anymore?

Is there any problem in using Response.Redirect()?

Any advice will be appreciated, thanks!

After some more testing, I found out that only host account won't get logged out automatically after Response.Redirect().

Beside host account, any other logged in account will get logged out when use redirect, even with admin account.

I have tested the code to redirect the page to http://www.dotnetnuke.com, and it works just fine, after the redirect, I am still logged in to this site....

Any idea on this?

Thanks!

First, I want to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

But with this great holiday season, I am still trying all I can to find the solution for the problem I encountered…

Please, anyone can help me on this? I have been working on this problem for days already.....

To summarize the problem I have here:

I have a child portal with Catalook installed, and the logged in user will get logged out automatically after they got redirect back to the site from other page using Response.Redirect(http://MyServer/ChildPortal, True). But if I logged in as Host, I won't get logged out after redirect, all other accounts (include Admin) will get logged out after redirect.

My parent portal doesn't have this problem, only child portal has this problem. I have also installed a new DNN 4.3.7 (also with Catalook installed on child portal) on another server, and it also doesn't have this problem, both parent and child portals.

From your experience and knowledge about DNN, is there any possible thing that will cause the user got logged out automatically??

Can anyone please help?? Please? I really appreciate any advice or suggestion that you can provide.

Thanks a lot!

Update:

If I have the same user in parent portal, then I won't get logout. And I have also added the tabid into the URL, but it doesn't help.

I guess this is as far as I can go by myself, holp anyone can provide me more info on this issue.

Thanks!
