MERRY Christmas leupold (and thanks for the help)!!

Yes leupold, that's exactly where I was (when I said Gemini page), but then I am lost, I do not see the enhancements of 4.4.0, there are so many things, which seems to be related to the enhancement for a future version... :-(
Ok, let's forget this question, I fully trust people here, I am more interested in installing the new 4.4.0, could you please check item 2/ above and informed me if I am correct or not ???

PS: for newby, things are not so clear sometimes... Too much advanced user oriented :-(

Thanks for the XMAS present guys... Much appreciated...

One thing, DNN-4495 is apparently "checked in" here, yet here:

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/ChangeLog.aspx?PROJID=2

... it states it is just assigned to Charles. So one of these pages needs altering?

Similar things happen in previous versions, see DNN-4032, DNN-3968, well just scroll down the list of http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/ChangeLog.aspx?PROJID=2, for other odd entries that might need cleaning up... check the status column.

Thanks and Merry XMAS!

Alex

p.s. James Brown died today, what a great loss eh! (or should I say - huh! or owww!). Sorry I just had to say it somewhere.

2/
Could you please tell me if I am correct (I have read the post sticked at the top, but it is not clear enough for me): apart from the web.config modif to be done, could you please confirm that I need to decompress the install.zip on my local hard disk, and then, FTPing the files on the web server, is this correct ?? It will overwrite files in the existing web server, correct ?? (Of course, I have done a database backup and whole space server backup).

Then, I access my website and it should launch the upgrade process, correct ??

PS: Sorry for James Brown.

2/ is correct, but don't forget to backup installation folder and database prior to any action!
