Hi All,

I had created a skin for my website. Now I wants to put control panel(by which we add Modules in content Pane) in that skin or wants to change its size as per my skin like we can see in default skin of dnn. The control panel appears in that skin. Can anyone tell me that from which CSS prperty I can change its Size?

Thanks n Regards

Ashutosh

Hi Ashutosh

I don't know which 'size' you want to change, but you can style the panel using .ControlPanel

You can also have a look at admin\ControlPanel\iconbar.ascx to see what classes you need to modify, or, if you don't mind changing core files for the site, make your changes there, or make your own control panel altogether.

You could also try switching to the "Classic" control panel as it might suit your site better.

And also, for an alternative option, check out the free and very compact control panel replacement here:
http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=4318&search=dnncontrol&pagenumber=0&sortby=&tagid=

There is also another replacement panel that lets you disable certain menu items on the admin menu. This overcomes some role/permissions problems with the default menu. The only problem is that I've forgotten what that menu is called, but someone here will know it... I have it in my notes at home but I won't be there for another week.

Regards,
Rob
