I was asked to post this this forum to see if anyone would be able to shed some light on this issue.

I am using 4.4 and have created a moule that implements iactionable. No matter what security parameter I use, "View or Anonymous", the links and menu will not be displayed. If I login as host, of course it works. I have even tried changing the security on the module to allow editing and still nothing.

Please refer to the link below...

I'm having the same problem with a module I have developed and deployed on DNN version 03.03.07 running under .Net 1.x.

The same module works fine under 03.03.05 and 03.01.01.   It also works fine running in debug mode in version 03.03.07 on my work station.

I was banging my head on my desk trying to figure this one out. Thanks for posting it here. I can stop banging!

Strange that other modules are fine. I added a response.write in the ModuleActions Property just above the return. It only seems to be firing when logged in as the Admin or Host accounts.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be welcome.

Mir

Turn off caching for that module and give your head a break.

Tried that.  Set the "Cache Time" for the module to 0.  Any other suggestions?

Did you give "All Users" Edit access to the module? Actually for non administrative links I recommend NavigateURL: How to make a link (VB &C#)
