Hello,

I've installed SQL 2000 with SP3 on Windows Server 2003 machine, and .NET 2.0 also, but i can't install DNN. Actually, I can't setup ASP.NET and IIS configuration.

Where I can find installation guide?

Thnx!

have a look into the install guide that is contained in the documentation pack, available at the DNN download page.

Hi,
I'm following Introduction pages (6 steps) and my problems are:
1. add user DOMAIN\user to new SQL database (Website). It seems OK
2. edit web.config as: connectionString="Server=MYSERVER;Database=Website;uid=SBS\USER;pwd=PASSWORD;" The same procedure for   <connectionStrings> and <appSettings>
3. IIS - I started DotNetNuke_4.0.2_StarterKit.vsi and new IIS virtual directory was created. BUT I don't have ASP.NET 2.0 under IIS - Default Website - Application Pool.
4. NTFS file permission - DONE
5. Choose a Site Template - HOW can I select it???
6. When I started Ctrl-F5, I gor an error message.....

Please help :-(

Thnx!

You should install the SQL instance in Mixed Mode. Is that a SBS 2003 you are installing on?

And you should install .Net 2.0 but be carefull that you leave all the other sites (if this is SBS) on .Net 1.1 because there are compatibility issues.
