Hi,
SQL 2000 with SP3 is installed on clean server. Just SQL is installed. And ASP.NET 2.0, downloaded from MS site.

What means SQL in mixed mode?
Thnx.

This article shows you how to create a new SQL instance and move databases using mixed mode:

Hi Mariëtte,

Now, I have installed SQL 2000 on SBS server and patched to SP3. .NET Framework 2.0 is also installed (I've folder C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727).

Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition will be installed in a 1 hour. I'm planning to install DotNetNuke on SBS server. Is it OK, or do I need to do this on different server? On SBS server there is Sharepoing Intranet portal. Curently internal web-sites are under ASP.NET 1.1

Could you please describe me next steps for DotNetNuke installation?

As I can see on Installation Guide it should be:
1) page 39, use Install Source/Install package
2) configure IIS. Warning: Application Pool must be ASP.NET 2.0. How can I setup it?
3) please write exactly text for web.config file
4) ....

Thnx in advice!

Tom

Why are you installing the source on your SBS? What do you want to do with Dotnetnuke on your SBS?

Hi,
I don't want to install DotNetNuke on SBS. I have additional HW and SW, so DNN could be installed on Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP (member of SBS domain). SQL is installed on SBS server.

What do you mean "Why are you installing the source on your SBS"?

What next?
