Hi... I had a gridview. I need to localize it, I mean the header text. Inorder to do that first i need to capture the key value of a particular string from the resource file and as per the culture i should bind the same. So, I could not find any method to capture the string of the resource file. I m new to globalization. I think u understood my questn. Please help me...

Stefan -

Could you give an example of how this is used or where I can find one?

Thanks

Thanks, that was helpful.

Curious though why DNN has not taken advantage of the more powerful declarative localization features available in ASP.NET. The ASP.NET system supports localization of multiple properties and labels on complex controls like GridView without writing any code. In version 4.9.3 at least, it seems that a separate DNN system has been implemented that can do less. If by removing the DNN system the ASP.NET system would default through, it would give the double benefit of more powerful localization, and less core code to maintain going forwards.
