Comment the following in your web.config

<authentication mode="Forms">
      <forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="60" />
    </authentication>

and uncomment the following

<authentication mode="Windows">
            </authentication>

This works for me but I have a different problem after this... the user never logs out.

Did anyone ever explain the authentication types listed in this thread?

Hi Robin.

They're added automatically by the DirectoryServices class from Microsoft and generally Delegation is what you'll want to use. I'll do some googling to see if I can't find a description of each one that I can copy and paste or point you to. I've got an excellent book that explains each one but I'm not willing to plagarize 6 pages of text.

Thanks Mike, I will try and have a look as well.

Do you have the name of the book and do you recommend it to help explain them?
