Just a question on whether DNN 4.4.0 is to be considered an RC (release candidate) or a full release.

Back when the DNN 4.3.x series started with 4.3.0, that version was labelled as an RC and moved out of that designation around version  4.3.4. I'm just wondering if anything like that is happening with 4.4.0. Thanks!

It's a full release now. DNN 4.4 went through three RC's with the Benefactors and core team before being released to the public.

That being said, there will probably be a 4.4.1 before too long.

IMO, it is as with any new release (of any software from any vendor) containing new features - waiting for at least a .1 release to use it in production environment is usually not a failure.
