Great, except my module is developed in C#... Is Compiled Module for C# Available?

The screenshot only shows Compiled Module for VB

Use the VB template but write the code in C# and use a ".cs" extension for your files.

Hello Michael
Thank's for that information and for your tutorials.
Should Modul-Development be done with the DNN-Source or with the DNN-Starterkit?
Regards Nicolo

To use the WAP template you need the source code version of DotNetNuke.

I do not recommend this for beginners. I also do not use this myself because it doesn't work with Visual Web Developer Express and for projects like IWeb I want everyone to be able to modify the code.

AdefWebserver I am following your directions at: http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN4_WAP/ to add a compiled module.  I am using the downloaded DNN Source and following your directions.

and when I choose Add-->New Project--> compiled module I get the following error:

The project file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\m5mxrogm.ujv\Temp\ModuleName1.vbproj' cannot be opened

This project type is not supported by this installation.

Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

Thanks!

It appears the DotNetNuke templates are not installed correctly. Why is it looking in "Temp\m5mxrogm.ujv\Temp\" ?

I don't think its that.. I think DNN is extracting it to the temp folder then copying it over, but the problem is it cannot open the .vbproj file.

I manually extracted it somewhere else and I am not able to open the .vbproj file.   I am currently installing VS 2005 SP1 which I had no idea was released and it doesn't show in my Microsoft Update.  Maybe I will be able to open the .vbproj after SP1
