Hi,
I'm experiencing a strange issue on my dnn portal. I've updated to 4.4.0 but it is still appearing: everytime a user tries to register, there's no confirmation message like 'An e-mail with your verification code has been sent to your e-mail address: {0}<br>Please access your in-box and get the verification code, which is required to log-in first time.' showing up and there's no email sent with the activation key...

I tried different registration modes but it's always not working.
The smtp settings seem to be correct because dnn sends newsletters or role notifications properly. (by the way i'm not using any language packs...)

anybody has an idea why this happens and how to get rid of it?
thx in advance..
