A critical error has occurred.
INSERT statement conflicted with COLUMN FOREIGN KEY constraint 'FK_Forum_ThreadsRead_Forum_Users'. The conflict occurred in database 'DNN4Test', table 'Forum_Users', column 'UserID'. insert The statement has been terminated.

I get this error when trying to go to a forum.

Ditto. Clean install of DNN4.0 from Source, install forum module, add groups and forums, create a new user and log in:

PS: I have also given registered users edit permissions on the module and still have the same issue.

If you look at the other recent threads, I have had the same issue with installing forums on 3.2, and existing forum installations have the same problem for new users. A fix is on its way, but for the moment it's just a matter of being patient and waiting until it's ready.

This error will happen in DNN 3.2 and DNN 4.x.  I am trying to push a fix as fast as possible, but it will require all the other bug fixes for this release to be completed as well as this must be an official release.  The fix involves development which I have partially explained in another thread, but mostly involves removing MemberRole and going from the project and going from there.
