He there

I have some troubles creating my own modules. now i've seen the modules starter kit. My problem is now, that we have dnn 4.0.2 in our company, and I just can find starter kit for 4.3.7 and 4.4.

Is there a version for 4.0 or do I get troubles if i take the starter kit 4.4? Or should i tell my boss to update? :)

thanks for advice

Your best option is to update and to have a plan to keep updated as we release new versions on a regular basis and make sure that existing sites can upgrade.  The DNN 4.4.0 release is a major step forward with a swag of performance improvements and also improvements to the Module developemnt lifecycle with improved packaging and the starter kit.

You can access all legacy versions of DNN here http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=77052&package_id=77939

Cheers
