That might be possible. The specs say that the LINK element should appear between the HEAD tags, however. Doing it this way would ensure that the page would not validate, and might cause problems on some browsers. I'd rather do it the right way if it's possible.

You're right, that would allow me to include another CSS file, but it doesn't get me the conditional comments. I really want that CSS to only be loaded for IE 6 and below.

Any other ideas?  This must be possible somehow...

Can anyone offer up a more complete solution?

I can't believe that this can't be done. There must be an easy way to add something to the <head> section of every page no matter what Skin is used.  I really need conditional comments to be included...
