hi, i tested it for days now ... dnn 4.4 seems not to work / seems not be able to run on the visual studio built-in webserver. i tested team edition and express edition.

just used dnn 4.4 and dnn 4.3.7 install versions.
set using of dynamic ports to no and added <add key="UsePortNumber" value="True" /> to the web.config .

dnn 4.3.7 works fine. no porblems. but with dnn 4.4 i get a JS error and the background image of the menu bar is not shown. also the drag&drop function and the ajax edit text function don't work. the rest looks good.

any ideas how to fix that?

got it ... the whitespace filter (host -> host settings -> advanced settings -> performance settings) has to be disabled when using the bulit-in webserver of visual studio 2005.

Now it works fine.
