Hi everyone....
Here is the thing.. DNN can have one installation with one database and they can hold multiple portals but there is any how that I can use a diferent database for each portal with the same installation?

What I'm thinking is to share the same installation of dnn with multiple databases and each database linked to one portal and if I can do this I can really upgrade multiple portals at once.

A Folder_DNN435 -> DB_1  -> Portal 1
                            |  -> DB_2 -> Portal 2
                            |  -> ........  -> ...........
                            |  -> DB_N -> Portal_N

Does anyone have any idea if this can be done?

I'm sure it could be done, but it would take a LOT of changes to the code to get that to work.

Why do you want to run one codebase but multiple databases?

hey thanks .. with your anwser I alredy now which decision I going to take...

But the reason is for a case like this. I have Multiple Portals for the same Corp and them all going to have the same version of dnn but all of them have to have their exclusive instance of a database. Even knowing that they are in the same company they still being different clients.
