Hi together,

I already searched on DDN.com and with google, but I couldn't find a solution there.
I am trying for hours to change the text/link color in the submenus / pulldown menus.
If I add in MainMenu_SubMenu {} for example "color: #000000;" nothing is changed.
Why is it so?
Google says that this is a problem with the xml data...

Does anybody has a solution?

Sincerely, testlogin

If you could provide a url to the site you are trying to skin it would make it easier to offer advice.

DNN has multiple css files that could be overriding your setting.  There are a few other factors as well, so seeing the actual skinned site will allow us to get you the correct answer right away.

I also have a similar problem.
My menu text color is white, but I want my submenu background to be white with a blue text.

So when I edit the (.MainMenu_SubMenu) I can change the background color to white, but I cannot change the text color to blue (ignored).... any specific reason why I cannot accomplish this?

Is there any other way to achieve my request?

Dear Jon Henning,
unfortunately, I cannot give you any URL, because it is a intranet.

But now, I have solved the problem:

The color you want to have in the Submenus only must be set as default and the color in the MainMenu has to be changed in "_RootMenuItem" and "_RootMenuItemSelected" to the color you want.

Hope you find it useful, mrobideau.

mrobideau,

Like I posted above, in order to quickly resolve your issue we need to see a sample.  Please provide a url.  Otherwise we will be wasting time in guesswork.
