Hi all,

I am new to nuke and I am considering DNN as our framework to build our support site which would have some features such as forums, ticketing system, knowledge base, etc. Is anyone ever build this kind a project using nuke? Please let me know the pros and cons of using DNN, for support site as particular?

Any comments will greatly appreciate.

Ronny,

There are many companies using DotNetNuke to host support sites.  These sites use the SigmaPro module package.  For complete details on SigmaPro, go to www.SigmaProDraconis.com (you can demo SigmaPro on that site as well, look at the Read Me page in the "Try It" menu for details).  You can also request your own evaluation version from Sales@OnyakTech.com.

SigmaPro 6.0 includes a full featured ticketing system designed for SixSigma and ITIL (for incident tracking).  It also includes a knowledge base, file manager, recycle bin, release log, time tracking, cost tracking and much more.  There is also support for teams, anonymous access, escalation, history logs, dashboards, complete customization of codes (status, priority, category, milestone, etc), custom fields, email templates and more.

SigmaPro 6.0 is more of a system then a module.  It comes with several modules and Windows applications that include an email monitor, web service,  help desk, viewer, plug-ins, SigmaEx (a Windows application designed for support desk managers and project managers to analyze the data and export SigmaPro projects to Microsoft Project) and more.

Some companies using SigmaPro are Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, Call Centers 24x7, CERTPROS, North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Relax Ltd, AMI-Productions, KC Interfaces and more.

SigmaPro is available from www.OnyakTech.com.  Purchase includes a Free 1 Year Subscription to all OnyakTech DNN Modules.

Ronny...

I use Onyaktech Sigma Pro for my help desk and projects. It's a good product and is very flexible. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but not too difficult to get set-up and running.

Hi All,

I thank you for your response. So, SigmaPro is running under DotNetNuke portal (so some kind of module or it can be integrated on any ASP.NET application.

Thanks in advance.
