Well

I am not sure why you want to start again.

If you have some issues with your instance of the portal then upgrade package will ensure that you are not loosing your content in Database. and it is likely to cure any outstanding bugs.

Hey Salar, thanks for the tip. I was running 4.4.0, tried your advice on an upgrade to the same version but it didn't seem to do anything after I uploaded the files to the server. Is it possible to revert to the original site definition or something similar? Thank you much.

Hi

Sorry I am not absolutly sure.

If you install a new DNN. you will be starting a fresh DB. which means nothing in your existing blogs will remain there. However, the JS file that is causing your problem, must still be in the html which means it is saved in db. try and go through the blogs that may have the problem code and clean it up with taking the content to note pad and droping it back in. ensuring that all the codes are stripped out.

If you do go to a new db and a new portal, rebuilding your blog will be very difficult as all the dates are messed up.
