I saw a post in the support site that would seem to indicate that it is possible for a user to be a member of multiple portals.  This would be very helpful to me as I have a number of users who need access to several sites. 

Is there any documentation on the right way to handle this?  If no documentation can anybody provide a quick overview of the tables that need to be modified to handle this.  I'm assuming that this is handled at the database level since there doesn't appear to be a UI in 4.3.7 for it.

There are no table changes required. If a user is registered in Portal A, all they need to do to register in Portal B is to register with exactly the same username and password as they supplied for Portal A. If they do not supply exactly the same details, DNN will say they cannot register because a user with that username already exists.
