Hello Guru's,

This is my first interaction with DNN.
We have a website up and running which uses a custom built user login methods with SQL 2000 as the backend.
To introduce community features like forums, blogs etc., we decided to try DNN. Just installed 4.4.0 on the site. Now it is up & running.
Now the question I have is - We want DNN to use the authentication used by our existing system. How & where do I specify in DNN this?

Thanks in Advance,
Sanya

We have a lot of experience in this area. There are a couple of approaches you could take depending on how you’ve implemented your current authentication system. The challenge, most likely will be synchronizing DNN accounts with your external system accounts. With DNN, it’s relatively easy to configure external sites to use DNN’s user data. However it’s much tougher to modify DotNetNuke to utilize external user data.

Feel free to contact us through our website. www.ucanuse.com
