Hi

I want to put special characters in the solpart menu items.  For example.  I want a bullet point between the titles.  So I've added this to the page name.

For example the home page is called   "Home •"    This gives me the desired effect of putting a space and a bullet between menu items.

However, the URL now looks like http://localhost/DotNetNuke440/Homenbspbull/tabid/36/ctl/Tab/action/edit/Default.aspx!!

instead of http://localhost/DotNetNuke440/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Tab/action/edit/Default.aspx

Can anyone think of a way around this in the CSS for the menu items or a way of escaping the codes?  The bullet points appear fine but the name don't.

Perhaps I can use a friendly URL definition instead?

Angus

you can specify in web.config, not to include folder names in URL, this should solve your issue.

Your bullet point can be a background image in the css

If it is on the left of the title, then it can be an image as icon added when you add the page or after from PageFunctions/Settings

thanks guys

I'll look into these methods.

Just one other question.  Can the text for the solpart menu items be replaced entirely by .gifs?  It would be nice to use some unusual menu fonts on some of my sites.  Any ideas?

A.
