We have a tourism site in DNN 4.35 and the last month we have a increment in transaction log (from 50MB to 400MB)

My host report:
We perform a full backup for your database each evening at 11:00PM EST. A
log file backup and truncation is performed each morning at 7:00AM EST.
From the last  last week we have a site down each afternoon with the following message error:

Error Details

File
Error   The transaction log for database 'xxxx' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases
My DNN instalation only have DNN Core modules.

I don't want buy more database space, because is expensive. If i increment my database space, this log grow infinitely daily?
What can i do?

Thanks for your help.

If you've setup the recovery model of your db to "Full", you should remember to backop the log regularly. Doing so will purge it automatically. The other way arround is to set the recovery model to "simple". Unless you need to be able to restore your db to any given point in time, the Full recovery model might be a bit too much for you (and it saves a lot of disk space). If you set the model to simple, remember to shrink the db afterwards (you can also set autoshrink to true)

[edit] did you check whether your log file is actually purged every morning [/edit]

My site is down for this problem and I cannot login to make any changes and when I try to manually delete entries using SQL Server management studio, it fails with the same reason.  How can I recover from this????
